Achievements

Before Atlantic View CDP opened in 2001 the Erne catchment area there was lacking in essential networking infrastructure. Voluntary Community Groups had no access to funding information, affordable admin services and no supportive body to assist in the provision of meeting space or sourcing required information.

Consequently Community Groups were severely disadvantaged, unable to research support available or to plan their own development. Groups acted in isolation and frequently inadvertently acted against the community development that they strived to promote. Since our inception we have worked to promote networking and community building by serving these needs in the Erne catchment area.

We have sourced funding, stimulated activities and organized course, research and workshops in education, arts and crafts, personal development and Cross Border work to address poverty and exclusion within the community.
